Based in San Jose, California we are a team with members of different age groups, ethnicities and backgrounds. We are founded on the ideas of self- discipline, youth empowerment, respect and appreciation for Vietnamese/Chinese culture. Buu Kim Tu, is a non-profit organization under the Cultural Quest Foundation.
About: Who We Are
HISTORY
The lion dance troupe, Buu Kim Tu, was named after a temple in Vietnam. Translated into English it's name means Twin Golden Temple.
Sunny Hoa Nguyen, founded the troupe, through his experience of lion dancing at a young age in Vietnam as well as other lion dance groups in the U.S.
